Wexford County Council on Aging (COA) is a local nonprofit 501-C3 agency established in 1974
charged with serving seniors age 60 and older throughout Wexford County, Michigan. The agency is governed by a 15 member
Board.
The COA brings together federal, state, and local grant funds as well as local donations and millage dollars
to make up their budget. These monies are used to provide a variety of services to seniors throughout the county. The COA
greatly depends on donations to help maintain their programs.
"Our mission is to collaboratively provide, manage, and source an integrated
system of health and human services for Wexford County seniors and disabled adults with chronic illness or disability."
Our Vision: Wexford County Council on Aging strives to enhance
the quality of life for senior citizens and disabled adults by providing assistance that offers them the ability and choice
to remain safely in their homes.
